Rumors are running amok all over the internet that WB and Christopher Nolan are putting together a Director’s Cut of The Dark Knight Rises.

As much as I would love to see a longer Batman, complete (allegedly) with Bane’s origin and more Ra’s Al Ghul scenes, I’m not keeping my hopes up. I remember similar Director’s Cut rumors for Batman Begins and Dark Knight that obviously never materialized. I think we all hope for it, because, let’s face it, who doesn’t want just a little more Batman. The more likely situation is that the director is probably satisfied with the final product and doesn’t have another “cut” to share.

Luckily the studio respects Nolan enough to not push some kind of hack job “1.5” release.
